I cant sleep and can't exercise because I'm so exhausted... please help!

    Thank you for sharing your experience. What you have described is unfortunately common for many women during peri-menopause. As you know, poor sleep can impact so many things, so focusing on improving this first would be my recommendation. Here are some strategies to start with.

    • Limit blue light exposure 2 hours before bed this includes any computer, tablet, TV, and phone exposure. If you can't eliminate your screen use before bed consider buying blue light blocking glasses to wear during this time.
    • Develop a wind down routine to implement on a regular basis. I recommend this includes calming and soothing strategies such as sipping chamomile tea, implementing a deep breathing or mindfulness exercise, and reading a non-electronic magazine or book.
    • Use sleep supportive supplements like Gennev's CBD, CBD with melatonin, or magnesium

    Once you can experience an improvement in sleep it is likely that you will have more energy for exercise and nutrition. It can take sometime and fine tuning which approach works best for you.
