Thank you for sharing with our community what you are experiencing. The symptoms you describe are ones often experienced by women in menopause. All of these symptoms would benefit from a conversation with your physician or one of Gennev's OB-GYNs who specialize in treating menopause symptoms. At the same time learning more about these symptoms and strategy options available is also important in supporting you in taking an active role in your health during this time of life.

Mood changes and feeling more emotional are often a result of the fluctuations in hormones. There are both lifestyle modifications, therapy, and medical options that can help to mitigate this. I find the most of my clients benefit from a combination of these options. This article from our education page provides more info on strategies that may help.

Incontinence is another symptom that is common during menopause and even more likely if you have given birth to kids. This can often be attributed to changes in the muscles of your pelvic floor. The good new is there are physical therapists who specialize in treating the pelvic floor and can provide treatment options that help. A good place to start would be through asking your physician for a referral for pelvic floor PT treatment. This article provides additional information on this.
