How much does it cost to book a telemedicine visit with a Gennev doctor?

At Gennev, we currently accept both self pay and insurance for carriers who are contracted in-network with us. At present, we accept insurance for commercial Aetna policies only, but we are actively working to expand that list. Please check back with us periodically to learn which new carriers we are contracting with next.

For insurance patients, a patient's financial responsibility will vary with each individual policy. Following booking, patients filing insurance with Gennev will be prompted to enter their specific policy information during the check-in process, and we will run an eligibility check in real time to see what your policy is obligating us to collect for your visit. All insurance copayments are required to be collected prior to your visit at the time of check in. This policy supports a smoother billing process for our patients, and it allows us to bill the remaining balance to your insurance company. When a patient makes a payment, they will receive an email receipt from Gennev following the check in process. If a patient does not show up to their scheduled appointment time and fails to cancel, a no show fee of $50 will be incurred. No show fees are patient responsibility and are not able to be billed to your insurance carrier.

For self-pay patients, we currently offer 30-minute appointments. New visits are priced at $199 per visit, and established patient visits are priced at $149 per visit. Appointment fees are paid at the time of booking. A 30-minute time slot ensures that our patients have sufficient time to address all of their concerns with their Gennev Provider. Appointments must be paid in full prior to the scheduled appointment time during the check-in process. Patients will receive a link via email and text to complete their check-in process and pay within 5 days of their appointment. If a patient does not show up to their scheduled appointment time and fails to cancel, a no show fee of $50 will be incurred.
